What kind of sole is better? It depends on when it fits.
I. Bottom Bottom
1. The material of the outsole is simply natural rubber or synthetic rubber.
(1) Natural rubber: The advantage of natural rubber is that it is very soft, elastic and suitable for all kinds of sports, but the disadvantage is also obvious that it is not very wearable. Indoor sports shoes are mostly made of natural rubber.
2. Artificial synthetic rubber is also divided into wear-resistant rubber, environmentally friendly rubber, air rubber, viscous rubber, hard rubber, carbon rubber.
(1) Wear-resistant rubber: Wear-resistant rubber and toughness are very good, so very durable, this rubber material is generally used on the sole of tennis shoes.
(2) Environmental rubber: also known as recycled rubber, this rubber outsole contains up to 10% recycled rubber, the main purpose is to protect the environment.
(3) Air rubber: Rubber contains air, which has a certain shock absorption function, but it is not very wear-resistant and has not been widely used.
(4) Viscous rubber: Viscous rubber is characterized by good flexibility, and very slippery, generally used in indoor sports shoes.
(5) Hard rubber: Hard rubber is the most comprehensive rubber in the rubber material with large sole. It is tough, slippery and wear-resistant, so its use is naturally very wide. Multifunctional shoes and basketball shoes are mostly made of this rubber sole.
(6) Carbonated rubber: Carbon element is added to ordinary rubber material to make rubber more tough and wear-resistant. Most running shoes use this kind of rubber, and BRS letters are left on the back of the sole to indicate that the sole uses carbon rubber.
3. Rubber-bonded outsole: This outsole is not common. The raw material of this outsole is industrial glue. It is made by mixing with mixer and then heating in the mould. Its characteristics are soft and very slippery.
II. Midsole
1. Nowadays, I don't think many people will know about the midsole of sneakers. That is PHYLON midsole, and EVA midsole are the most common. In fact, both midsoles belong to the same attribute category (engineering plastics), but why are they called differently? PHYLON originated in the United States. The earliest shoe midsole is called PHYLON. There is no distinction between EVA midsole and PHYLON midsole. Later, with the continuous development of footwear products, the name of midsole is more systematized from some large-brand footwear research and development factories in Taiwan and South Korea. There is what we now call EVA midsole. Next, I will talk about the difference between EVA midsole and PHILON midsole.
At present, the most commonly used shoe sole is PHYLON midsole. The biggest feature of PHYLON is light weight, good elasticity and good shock absorption performance. PHYLON is called secondary foaming. EVA midsole is also light, but its shock absorption performance and elasticity are far less than those of PHYLON midsole, and its cost is much lower than that of PHYLON. EVA midsole is called a single foam. The reason why they have the same attributes and different names and different performances is that PHYLON is a secondary foam while EVA is a single foam.
(1) One-time foaming: After injecting the material into the mould and heating at high temperature, the once-formed sole is called one-time foaming sole, which is also called EVA sole.
(2) Secondary foaming: After injecting the material into the mold, the shoe midsole, which is fired after two times of high temperature heating, is called the secondary foaming midsole, which is commonly referred to as PHYLON midsole. The hardness and softness of PHYLON are also controlled by temperature. In the process of firing the bottom of PHYLON, the higher the temperature is, the higher the density of the firing PHYLON is, and the harder it is. The smaller the fire, the lighter the PHYLON will be, the softer the PHYLON will be, so the evaluation of the sole can not be measured by weight or the degree of hardness.
(3) Packing Burning Midsole: Packing Burning Midsole is also PHYLON Midsole, but the designer used a shoe-making technology in pursuit of the overall design feeling. The best example is that the sole and the shoe body used the same fabric, making the whole combination of the shoe body and sole, and also a bright spot in the shoe-making process. To achieve this process, the selected fabric is used to wrap the formed PHYLON midsole, which is burned at high temperature in the mold and becomes the fabric-like midsole as we see in LB1.
2. PU midsole: Apart from PHYLON midsole and EVA midsole, PU midsole is also common. The greatest advantage of PU midsole is better elasticity and toughness.
3. Package midsole: Nowadays many sneakers adopt built-in midsole structure, also known as package midsole. Like the familiar T-MAC series, NIKE's style series belongs to the middle sole structure of the bag. The middle sole of the bag is composed of two parts: the big sole and the upper, but the structure is still the big sole, the middle sole and the upper, but the middle sole is wrapped in the inside of the upper.
3. Inner sole and integral sole
1. Inner sole: Inner sole can also be considered as a form of package midsole. Unlike package midsole, the inner sole structure is the sole wrapped in the sole of shoes, such as FORCE1. Even if it is the inner sole structure, but not the whole rubber sole as seen from the outside, it is actually wrapped with the inner sole of the rubber sole. This midsole is also called MD, which belongs to one-time foaming of EVA.
2. Integral sole:
(1) The most common type of integral sole is EVA one-time foam forming sole. This kind of sole is cost-effective and has poor slip resistance. When the sole is wet, it is like wearing roller skates. REEBOK's 3D sole
